Well, Amara had her two-year check up today. She weighed in at about 22-23 pounds (I'm not sure how exact a measurement it was since she wouldn't get on the scale and we had to back it out of the combined weight of her and Justin!) and 34.25 inches tall. That's about 3% and 50% on the charts respectively, holding relatively steady to past performance. She was a trooper with her shots although didn't like them very much. Overall, doing great.
Her new 'move of the month' happened last week, where she put a spoon in each hand, scooped up two spoonfuls of oatmeal and fed one to her and one to Justin at the same time. I thought that was very talented! It's been superhot here so she's been in her geekhas (dresses) all the time, with fans and swamp coolers 24-7. More pictures of the weekend to come in the next day or so when I have the chance to upload some from her Aunt's camera.
On the way back, we drove through Grand Mesa National Forest. It was beautiful. It was a long drive home. I told Mama and Papa I hurt my bum, but they kept driving...we were almost home they said. And they said I was a REALLY good traveller this weekend. I agree :-)
Dad and I went to the Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park (top two pictures). The bottom pictures are at Red Mountain (near Ouray, CO)...good stuff.
I hiked across this bridge to go through a tunnel...like our train book says, 'toot toot, its dark in here!"
We all went to the zoo - we got to ride the choo choo, walk hand in hand (Eli initiated that) and ride the carasol. Baby Abey was too little so he and Michael sat on the peacock. 
I'm still bigger than you little guy, so do what I say...
