These were scenes from our drive between Lake Powell and Kodachrome State Park. We took 46 miles of good but unpaved road through some beautiful scenery including Grovesner's Arch. We popped out at Kodachrome State Park, named after the film for the beautiful colors in the rock with Kodak's permission. Unfortunately, we have no pictures from there but plan to go back. 
So this is a different section of Antelope Canyon, although presumably attached to the same one we toured below. This was one area among a few we saw from a boat ride we took on Lake Powell (Glen Canyon Dam). It was pretty cool. We camped two nights by the marina, which was quite fun although VERY windy. 
This was a slot canyon called Antelope Canyon near Page, AZ (near Lake Powell), where we went this weekend. It was gorgeous...Amara was particularly excited by the bumpity-bumpy ride we took to get there - think 3.5 miles on a sandy wash on a bench in the back of a safari-like truck. It was in Navajo Nation, so no 'buckles' (e.g. carseat) required - she was thrilled and couldn't stop giggling. 
These are pictures from the zoo this weekend. Amara also went to two birthday parties ("will there be cake, Mama?" is her first and only question relative to parties) - Lila, who turned 3 and Sadie, who turned 2. Unfortunately, we forgot our cameras at the parties!
