Just because this is our only picture from Sun Valley, Idaho over the long 4th of July weekend doesn't mean we didn't have a good time (we did!) or that there weren't plenty of other beautiful and interesting things to photograph (there were!). Blame it on lazy parents, hot weather and forgetting our camera - instead you will have to imagine staying at a cute little inn in town with a pool and hot tub, across the street from a park with a fountain (despite the electric blue water in the fountain, it was a huge hit!), with miles and miles of bike trail along the Wood River, views of the Sawtooth Mountains in all directions, and a local coffee shop with great coffee and breakfast food that we went to every morning. Supposedly there were great fireworks too but we all fell asleep before they started at 10:30PM!

On the Fourth of July:
"When it's America's birthday, does that mean its the birthday of all the roads and the cars and trees and stuff...or just the air?"

At the bike rental shop:
"Mama, this place is like a bike library!"
